Website redesign pitch. Concept and design.
Not everybody is familiar with the Magnolia brand or how they're related to Best Buy. Although they carry top-of-the-line audio and video products, their core business is the whole home transformation. My idea was to use 360 video to allow the users to experience unique rooms and walk around the entire house to interact with a home system designed by the Magnolia team. The visitor can be educated at different points on possible technology and services that are provided by Magnolia. This can be photos as well as video demos.
The online shopping experience was redesigned as well. Although it is secondary to their design and installation services, they had a large catalog of products that needed to be easily searchable and filtered by users. Identifying key terms and correctly tagging products was vital in determining the shop navigation.
The 360 video feature was not implemented due to timing and budget but you can see the live site here: MagnoliaAV.com
